Southern Vermont College invites applicants for the position of Chair of the McCormick Division of Business. Candidates should have extensive experience teaching in the college classroom and noteworthy academic management experience at the program or department level. Preference will be given to candidates with Finance, Entrepreneurship and/or Non-Profit Management credentials. Reporting to the Provost, the Division Chair will be responsible for working with faculty and Administration to further all programs within the McCormick Division o f Business. He or she will also provide undergraduate classroom instruction, student advisement, academic program assessment, recruiting and evaluating Division faculty, and fiscal and academic planning. Other responsibilities include hiring and mentoring faculty, scheduling and staffing of courses, and service/committee work. Minimum requirements include an MBA; a doctorate in Business or in a related field is preferred.
